Richard,
First of all, let me say it is an in-circuit emulator, in case it makes things different. I know nEA is connected to Vcc because there is a wire connecting the pin with Vcc, and I have checked so using a voltmeter. Regarding to the EA specifications, I don't know if this could be the key but the datasheet also sais: "If EA is held high, the device executes from internal program memory unless the program counter contains an address greater than the on-chip ROM/OTP". Do you think the emulator could use this feature? Regards, Mikel |
