Your reply sounds a bit offending. I have taken my time to read as much as possible, and I did know you need to put external pull-up resistors, and thus I already had them connected.

I thank all the rest of you for the posts. My conclusion is that the chip is connected correctly, but there are some problems with the emulator itself. I will try to contact Micetek.
