before the start of a routine (whose names normally appear after LCALL and/or ACALL) i have heard of "belt suspenders and a piece of rope" but this is ridiculous. What you are, in effect saying, is that everyone should say to themeselves "I am such an idiot that my code most likely will stray into places where it should not go" I suggest that whoever works that way should leave the computer and buy a broom.
