Yes, that's a specification to which the support guys didn't refer me when I inquired. I wonder if there's a specific person one should contact for more detail.

The information is useful, though 200 us is a mite long, if the procedure for switching from one to another input can be managed properly, and if the re-initialization procedure can be kept short, it might be considerably shorter when switching between nearly similar (19.6 MHz <=> 20 <MHz) inputs. It's possible some of those values don't have to be rewritten. Unfortunately, 200 microseconds is an order of magnitude too long ... <sigh> ... to be useful for what I am doing. Frequency synthesizers don't operate very quickly, as their time constants are designed for stability rather than for quick lock. This type of PLL is not intended for fast acquisition. too bad ... |
