#138993 - NOT EMI Responding to: ???'s previous message |
But, how comes then that the Philips replacement you mentioned DID work?
So, there IS a thing like microcontroller more and less vulnerable to EMI?... NOT EMI. there was a timing error in the CPLD that resolved access to a shared RAM from two microcontrollers. Evidently the NXP chips emit some 'strobe' a few nanoseconds later (or earlier) than the Winbonds. The thing came to a break in combination with adding a feature, because I replaced some superinefficient code with a streamlined version (out of need, not desire) Erik |
