#139711 - Double Check Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Can you double check this?
I have checked my hardware as far as the circuit connection and nothing seems out of place. I have three wires going from my MAX3222 to the RS232 DB9 female receptacle. R1IN to pin 2, T1OUT to pin 3 GND to Pin 5. This RS232 DB9 female is then connected to the Male end of the serial cable. The other end (female) of the cable is connected to the communication port in the back of my computer, which is COM1. Is this correct for a DCE wiring, which is what Jon shows on his paper? |
