This is not quite what I had, I would leave this routine the same and modify the ProcessBuffer routine to txtDCVolt.Text = "" txtDCVolt.Text = strBuffer However if you clear the text box like that, then you loose all other information received unless you write each one to the disk file as they are received. In the above I noted, where you show two bytes. You are only receiving one character at a time (one byte at a time). Get a char - add to buffer get a char - add to buffer get a char - add to buffer get a char - it's CR buffer is complete - go process. clear buffer start over. Jon |
