In an embedded system C does not know where the printf output is going. It could be an LCD or serial port or other. If you wanted to use printf on an LCD, you would have to make your own putc function. The default in Keil is the serial port. Same way with scanf and getc.
Anyway you may have to strip off the LF with a left$ command. Maybe instead of the printf function, loop through the string with the putc function then append just the CR at the end. However, let me do a little more checking and get back. Jon |
