... it is enough to set any of the two bottommost bits of FCF (i.e. SWR=FCF.1 and BSEL=FCF.0). Setting SWR would seem to be the logical choice, as the software reset should also ensure that any SFR "spoiled" by the bootloader (or any other code residing in block 1) would be reset to the defaults.
