If You have problems with pin count - fastest way is
to use standard PC keyboard , in this case You need
IRQ pin P3.2 or P3.3 for clock and one for data, and routine to handle PCkeyboard strokes.
If You have only RX pin free - build yourself keyboard controller with second 89c51.
