neither, It's the RC reset. with a RC reset, you (often) get a small window of unpredictable behaviour during power down (with a lousy power supply, during power up as well). NOTE: this is NOT a 'defect'. Every time that the circuit powers up , the value 00H overwrites on first byte means location 0000H of RTC automatically and previous data in this location clears I believe that your conclusion is wrong, I beleive this happen "Every time that the circuit powers down" (the difference is often difficult to tell) Erik |
