#144668 - Unable to communicate with AT89S51 ...
hi
i am a student and i am using AT89S51 microcontroller for my
application.I have made a programmer for my microcontroller.
I am using computer's parallel port for communication.
In my scheme i am using a STK200 cable(which i have made by myself).
Microcontroller is interfaced with parallel port via 74HC541 tri state buffer.Only MOSI, MISO ,RST and SCK pins are connected with parallel port.
I have also connected a SPDT switch to EA(External Access) pin so that when i want to program i will turn it to 12v otherwise it is a t 5v.
I can upload the schematic also if anybody wants it .
My problem is that i have tried ISP Flash Programmer by Asim Khan(windows-xp) , UISP Programmer(in linux-FC4)but my code is not getting transferred .
Is this the problem with the hardware or software?
Any suggestions are welcomed.
I will check this page twice a day .
Regards
Richeek Arya
