#144695 - Re: This Programmer Works
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Kiran
Yeah i am referring to the same link.I have done the following modifications in the circuit:
1.Replaced 100ohm resistance with 1K resistances as i thought that they are just for current limiting as parallel can supply 2.4mA current.I will change them now according to the values given in the schematic. Can you tell me why they are need to be so specific?

2.Replaced the transistor with a SPDT switch , which will connect EA(31st pin) to 12v when i need to program the flash otherwise it will be at 5v.(it is mentioned in the datasheet of AT89S51 that EA should be equal to 12v for flash programming).

One more thing that when i am using current configuration then the corresponding software(by asim khan only) is getting hanged.
Did you also face the same problem?
Thanks again for the help.
