In my scheme i am using a STK200 cable(which i have made by myself).
Microcontroller is interfaced with parallel port via 74HC541 tri state buffer. Do not build the "cable" yourself, buy it! (STK200 cable is wrong, 74HC541 is wrong) Richeek said:
I have also connected a SPDT switch to EA(External Access) pin so that when i want to program i will turn it to 12v otherwise it is a t 5v. Heaven, why that?? Have you read any document about ISP-programming so far, or are you blindly guessing?? You cannot take ANY software, combine it with ANY hardware and additionally french-fry the chip with permanent 12V. Read the above link carefully, download the software, buy the "cable" and you will be happy. Kai |
