Do I have to slow down the speed of the 8051 chip to factor in the new RAM? I think the new ram is on NMOS (or NCMOS?) technology. that's not correct, no NMOS can be called 'new'
slow down, who knows, read the datasheet. Also, you may have a problem with the drive of NMOS from CMOS, the old steam driven '51s got boiling hot doing so. Why on earth do you buy old RAM on ebay, current 128K fast SRAM cost about $3 Erik |
