Mike - from what I gather, your requirements are: 1. close to zero cost 2. skinnydip package 3. 32k*8 minimum 4. compatible speed wise with 8051 @ 18Mhz Solution: Scrounge around for some old 386/486 vintage motherboards - the boards are chock full of what you want. People give these boards away. The cache rams (these are what they're used for on the motherboards) are 15-25nS and not low power - so don't expect to battery back them up and expect the battery to last a long time. All boxes ticked. Job done. |
