#146130 - and if I use my own code... Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Consider if someone uses their own 8052 code that controls the whole system from start to end without using any pre-defined code.
In other words, consider someone filling the entire ROM starting at address 0 with their own code, and only their own code. then what? I would rather eliminate as many errors as I can hardware wise (For example, disconnecting RW of the LCD from an address line, and connecting RW elsewhere. I still have to figure that one out.) than to accidently create failure in my hardware (with the software in ROM), just because I am using the wrong operation on the wrong address line. |
