#146205 - Answering some stuff Responding to: ???'s previous message |
My experience with the 8051 is just a couple of months thats true, but ive done a lot of assembly programming in x86 so the real problem for me is interfacing with other hardware, after that i just need the documentation to make the code (yea that also means all im going to do is probably going to be in assembly unless theres a big reason to do it in C).
Thanks for all your answers, ill try to answer all your feedback. I know its only a couple of weeks and im a noob, but ive alredy done all the simple proyects the teacher is handling out, and she knows im being ambicious so she told me that if everything is going badly in the last week of the proyect ill be able to simulate some stuff(for example reading a ROM filled with packets instade of a wifi card or whatever). Finally what i want to do is go into a network with a 8051 so the serial to wifi seems nice, could someone give me more feedback here so i can start considering going with that option tonight? Also we are 2 people on the "team" so make that 1.5 weeks of actual work to 3.... i guess its correct |
