I already have most of the parts (aquired over time) that I'll give this an attempt. If I don't succeed after a little work I'll just buy a evaluation board as suggested.

I should note that I'm not a absolute newbe. I'm very experienced in programming and breadboarding circuits. I'm just new to the MC game.
