#147523 - it is crap; Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Erik Malund, may I ask you how many bread boarded microcontroller systems have you assembled?
I do not know, but it is in the tens, I once worked in a place where pegboard protos were SOP. I recall several incidents of intermittent connections (whether I or someone else (I recall 3 different 'assemblers') put the crap together) and the "mode of operation" of "is this the code or another lose peg" is a fantastic ulcer generator. if assembled properly Great, why do you not put your knowledge into a FAQ entry. As for the parasitic capacitances and inductances you mention, are you aware that most of the high speed stuff in modern microcontrollers occurs inside the microcontroller chip itself? since when was "most of" a design criteria? If you can’t do it, it doesn’t mean it can’t be done! I can hammer a screw in - it IS faster than screwing it in, does that make hammering a screw in the right way? does that make that screw sit as solid as if I used a screwdriver? That something can be done neither proves it 'right' nor 'good' Erik SOP: a common abbreviation "Standard Operating Procedure" |
