What are the letters printed on the device after "RD2"? If it is "RD2H.." then you need to also pull P2.6 and P2.7 high during reset to place the device into ISP mode.
Have you tried lowering the baudrate? What crystal frequency are you using? Have you tried using a terminal program like Hyperterminal (8 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow control, no local echo) to send a 'U'? What do you get back? Anything? Nothing? Andy |
