#148864 - Another bit banged SPI for 8052 |
Can someone post example code for a MAX6969 LED driver for 8052 project? I have the Max chip(s) driving 60 LED's for proposed prototype on a 8052 development board. Max6969 uses "industry standard" 4-wire serial interface (SPI?)
For simplicity, I'd like to use my basic52 board for prototyping the MAX6969 circuitry first. Once perfected, prototype will go over to a PIC as a modified existing project. The PIC code is in assembler. Otherwise, if I use assembly language for the 8051, how different is this from the PIC 16F873 op code? Could someone please outline a simple dedicated BASIC52 program for 4-wire CLK, MOSI, MISO, LOAD and ENABLE on external memory decoded ports(0000H-DFFFH), (F000H-F3FFH) etc. I'm ready to write this to 8052 board and start circuit prototyping. Sincere Thanks, Marl |
