So what '51 compatible micro would use?
commonly available and likely to be in the future, simple (only a few digital I/O needed), serial port, 5 or 3.3V, surface mount (package that can actually be soldered by a human, ISP programmable through the serial port (so you could slap it down on a board with a Virtual Serial Port chip and program it easily. |
