#149984 - C runtime initializer tool Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Erik Malund said:
I just come to think of there is, indeed a configurator that would help many:
The poor sods, that have no idea what a cjne is or does, have enormous problems with the XDATA etc initialization that must be done in Startup.a51 (or the SDCC/IAR/... equivalent) for the compiled code initialization to work. That's a very good proposition. A tool to create the initialization code for the C runtime of one/some/all C compilers. But it still will have to account for all the derivative differences. And please keep it portable, not windows only. |
