More generally, it comes under "Intellectual Property Theft" or "IP Theft"

eg, if you have obtained a sample of a competitor's product (by fair means or foul), and are simply trying to copy it.

Or, another example, if this part is supplies to you ready-programmed, and you are simply trying to evade the cost of buying the ready-programmed parts by copying the code from one you already have...

Unfortunately yes - and it is a big problem for companies "offshoring" production work to low-cost locations...

Just look at the lengths that Microsoft go to in order to stop people illegally copying (ie, stealing) their software products...
