#151682 - Scope Waveforms Responding to: ???'s previous message |
on all wires I get square waves from 0 to 5 VDC whose frequency varies according to speed.
The actual wires have the following colors: Yellow, Red, white, Green, Black, Blue, Orange. unlike what is acually marked on the encoder. On the original equipment black was connected to Gnd as well as yellow. Red connected to + 5VDC So that leaves us with 4 wires left and they all produce ttl compatible square waves with frequency dependent on speed and they produce clocks with minute motion so there is no index pulse every 1 revolution of encoder. |
