Finally i've got everything working the way i wanted "at least close enough :D" just have a couple of things left with the analog i/p self diagnosis but other than that everything is fine, i've used the shift registers and they are working, i've even cancelled the buffers & i'm using parallel to serial shift registers on all i/p's and im putting all of them on one port which saved me alot and enabled me to do what my supervisor wants...
