I dont know about such shield connection ,maybe is good idea.
About 5 minutes "preheat" - maybe You can try to perform periodically selfcalibrating of ChipGain and/or ChipOffset . This can be complicated - maybe You must preserve default Gain/Offset registers, send Autocalibrate command, evaluate/compare new output with output before autocalibrating -and if loading was happen in the middle of autocalibrating - to restore old value into registers. Simple is to specify 5-10 minutes in user manual and in Your software. Yes, AD7730 is hungry chip - about 30mA consumption , so heat can be problem. regards |
