#155176 - I have yet to see any simulator, that
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Keil's 'C' doesn't have one, which is probably the reason Erik doesn't like simulators.
I have yet to see any simulator, that does not 'simulate'. You may enjoy simulated sex, but it is not the same as the real thing.

scheduled simulation of external inputs
I said "PLEASE do not reply with some bullshit about a simulator, a simulator is the most worthless tool in anybodys toolchest for any bug that is not 'static'

How are you going to simulate a truly random event without spending half your lifetime changing the 'schedule'

Developing a simulator to your specs so far has been beyond what the FPGA manufacturers (who REALLY 'need' and invest in simulation) have achieved. for an uC you can develop an ICE for a fraction of the cost of developing an even marginal simulator and the ICE (being 'real' will not 'lie' because of some programming error in the PC software.
