hiii ...

thanx all for your valuable time.

I am working in a avery small firm. Just got one liner from my BOSS ... "TOKEN MACHINE with printer" ...

The application will be comprised of microcontroller, EEPROM, RTC, a switch and ofcourse a thermal printer.

All the peripherals interfaced with microcontroller is known to me excpet of thermal printers.

This is for sure that this application will use thermal printers ... but which one and how to interface it with the microcontroller is not known to me and also not even to my seniors.

All the liability is on my shoulders ... from designing to developement ...

The applications like STD machines, parking allotment machine(time and date), ATM machines use printers and if I am not wrong then all applications uses thermal printers.

So thats all from my side the information I am having.

thanks & regards
Arvind
