#156993 - Well, maybe just a little ...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Ultramon 51 has some features, e.g. assembler and disassembler, so he can run it independently of a PC, which he did say he wanted, but are absent, for example, in the BASIC52 environment. It lets him do what he wants, though, and costs him nothing. It requires only the MCU, a couple of gates, an oscillator, and some RAM, AND it allows him to run BASIC52 in the same hardware. It even comes with diagrams to show him how to build the hardware so he can do whichever he wants.

The main thing, of course, is that it's free, Free, FREE, I say!

<getting off the soapbox ... for now ...>
