#157038 - What? Perhaps Misconstrued My Post(??!)
Responding to: ???'s previous message

I would like to respectfully respond to the 'comments' in a professional manner.

"Don't try to make him do what you know just because you don't know how to do what he wants."

Who did? We/I can help the gentleman, if we/I know what he wants to accomplish.

Hence, that's why I never suggest to people what I want them to do, but instead try to be helpful with what they intend to accomplish.

It's one of the things you learn when dealing with people, especially in retail.

That's why I said:

  • Please clarify your objectives
  • Please consider...
  • These are just options

Would I like people to using STAMPs or PICAxes? No, not really, I use a lot higher end hardware and software, but they have a place perhaps for some people, and a lot can be done with them.

A have a fine example of a contractor who did things based on what he wanted, coincidentally using the 8051 family, in some parts where it was not the best thing to do. He refused to consider other solutions. The results were very harmful in terms of time, money, and the company's progress on said project. The kind of guy who would shoot down someone else's ideas and for some reason had to show off how "smart" he was(?).

One can surmise that, if posts on a forum are met with aggression how will anyone benefit and why would anyone one be motivated to contribute? Perhaps we can show comradery and show positive achievement.

Have a nice day. :^)
