I can see that there is no economic sense in using two 24C08 when one 24C16 would be cheaper. In which case you just do not populate your board.
One is "on board" the other is "glued" to the device as an ID chip. However does this mean that the 24CxxB devices ONLY respond to a slave address of 0xA0 ? Ah dunno, the datasheet seems to state they respond to a0 - ae Erik |
