#158332 - I don't follow ...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
What, exactly, has "negative-logic" to do with deMorgan?

The assertion from that web page on deMorgan is that

A NAND B = not-A OR not-B.

Do you hold that to be false?

Doesn't the term NOR imply a negative output from an otherwise positive OR? OR is true when one or more of its inputs is true. NOR is false when the corresponding OR would be true.

By any measure I've seen, NAND equates to a negative-input OR, as it is true when either input is false. After all, it's
Y = /A + /B, isn't it?
