erik,

i agree. the very nature of requiring an i2c conversation to identify the source signal of the interrupt is a big clue that its better for slow level interrupts and wakeup signals.

i haven't used the chip yet, it appears to be something you'd choose when the pcb layout doesn't have anymore space for cheaper solutions. :)
