The nxp site says "Volume production", but the "alternative" (north american?) standardics.nxp page indicates it with a yellow triangle "Not for design", and also this post might be indicative of what "NXP vision" might mean for their '51 line.
So, I have to correct myself: not "already discontinued", but "rumors are, that it is going to be discontinued". JW |
