One thing about pricing and "small" quantities.
You can usually cut the price in half by buying a "stick", here a "stick" of P89C51RD2 runs approx $220 for twentysome chips. I know that for some amateurs this is a lot, but even at an intermediate stage it may be a good idea to think about this before purchasing.
To get one or two, ask for samples, I have not bought one or two of anything for years - why buy what you can get for free.
