#22529 - Stamp-sized 8051 idea |
I have been thinking about designing a stamp-sized 8051 SBC. The idea is to use a 8051 chip in single chip mode; no external memory. I will then add RS232 interface, ADC, DAC, RTC and a psu. So, very much like the Basic Stamp, just 8051 based and much more powerfull. It will NOT be a BASIC interpreter.
Do you guys have input on my idea? Is there a market for something like this? I know that Cygnal micros has all those functions build in, but the price is way to high for it. |
