Hello Steve,
Actually I don't want to limit the user -they can use C , asm, Basic, Forth whatever. I just meant I am not going to make it into an interpreter, so the user would have to use compiled Basic if the they prefer Basic. And I would want to add real hardware components, performance is way better with a real ADC than doing it in software. Also, trying to build all the peripherals in software quickly eats up precious chip resources like timers and intterupts. The Stamp is nice but have some serious limitations, that's is why I am thinking of building something a little better - for less money if possible! Bob G. |
