Rob Klein wrote: ------------------------------- "I think the problem with us 'old hands'" We need your experience you old hands otherwise how would we progress and advance humanity to a higher level! When we start with guidance of your experience we can go much higher level than if we start same level as you started. The best thing is to keep your mind open, take advice from experts like you and then do it your own way. I always admired the saying: "if there is a will there is a way" and I experienced that plenty of times. I remember the time when pcs had 64KB ram and we were designing our programs to be extremely tight with memory and caching programs into floppy disks to increase memory space, but things have changed now, our PCs have milions of bytes in ram, we should get the advantage of technology and change our way of thinking to adapt. When it comes to learning new things there is no old and young , because learning is part of our life. My first flight was a crash and i ruined my plane, bought a new one and trained on it for a month, then it crashed again, this time i fixed my plane myself and considered it great experience on how to build planes. I'm still not expert flyer but my next project would be to put a microcontroller in my plane to prevent it from crashing! and all the code would be written in pure C! Thanx Rob. |
