#23864 - RE: Bye Assembly hello c |
Hi Mahmood,
excuse me for the misunderstanding. It wasn't meant rude, more like a joke. Sometimes it seems, I should improve my English skills. Most times it looks, that the other understand, what I want to say. Excuse me, that it wasn't now the case :-( But I have detected, that typically programmers caming from the PC-world are unable to write efficient code for microcontrollers. Therefore I was astonished, that you have no knowledge about assembler. But now you tell, you have PIC experience and I suppose it was done mostly in assembler. So you have also a good fundament to program for other machines with little resources and also in C. Yes, many examples on my web are in assembler but many years old. All newer applications exclusively written in C since about two years. But I get very small feedback, so I'm happy if you can tell me your opinion about my C routines. I'm more a hardware developer than a software programmer. Peter P.S.: I have detect, that an interesting thread live longer, if I provoke answers. And so a posting can look too rude sometimes. |
