Does anyone know sources or how to build cheap altimeters for model aeroplanes, also for line of sight digital trancievers ?

Ah... are we talking about MODEL airplanes? That makes more sense. My understanding was you had crashed an airplane twice and were now looking for a microcontroller to help you crash it. :)

I've been thinking of getting into model airplanes myself. My biggest concern is that if I didn't have some kind of a video feed from the point-of-view of the flying plane I can't imagine actually remote controlling it. I have a hard enough time controlling my remote control car. When it comes towards me and I want to turn left I inevitably turn right and crash into a wall... Landing under those kind of conditions would be tricky...

Is anyone putting video feeds on RC planes?
