I'm going to make a slow PCI Device with 8051, something like PCI Debug card or connect to LCD to show the information provided from software driver, but having no idea. (I've searched this forum, still...)

I have just borrowed the book - PCI System Arthitecture by MindShare from library, but I found that isn't quite useful except that it tells me it's impossible to make it with only 8051~~

I have come across the Internet and found that the QuickLogic QL5130 (http://www.quicklogic.com/home.asp?...enuID=174) quite interesting. But I don't know if it suits my needs or not.

I would be very happy if someone would give me some hints or good links. Suggestion/comment on Interface chips I could use would be apperciate.
