I do not remember who, it is something like ISC or so, they have a chip which inlcudes a PCI interface and a Dual Port memory. Last I did a PCI interface I did the PCI with a CPLD and a DPM (sorry cistomer proprietary, can not divulge) but a couple of months I "stubmled over" the above chip searching for DPM. DPM seems to me to be the ideal way to interface two devices with dramatically different speeds.
