Bret you are exactly like me. See when I started learning swiming, I didn't go to shallow. That's a fact I started by jumping into 20 feet deep from a 10 feet high jump-board. (but I always had to keep the life guard on standby, who always had to rescue me out of pool)

It has been years, I enjoyed it and people also lauded my jumping but I could never become a good swimmer. You know why, because I got used to a life guard.

Jay, no doubt is a best life guard, but you have to put him on standby always to rescue you out of more capable microprocessors.
