Hi Shahzad,
There is no need to limit the current. Your device only uses 24 mA and that's it. Remember that the 7812 is a voltage regulator and the "1A" spec is the maximum current it can deliver while still maintaining 12V output voltage. If the load is lower, the regulator will deliver less current. Best regards, Rob. |
