I heartily agree with Rob, you do not need to limit the current. Make sure the regulator provides clean, steady voltage and the device will only draw what it needs. Should the device draw excessive current with proper voltage applied then the device itself has already failed.
If you wish, you could provide a fuse to protect the regulator, the trick is to find such low Amp fuses. (about 1/32 Amp in your case). Hal |
