Hi Shahzad,
just a theoritical touch up. Current is like the broad water pipe. It can supply certain amount (which may be higher than what is needed), but which tap u use is what decides how much water u get. A thin pipe will draw less water whereas a big pipe will draw a large amount of water (until the source can supply). You should be more worried about the voltage. If you provide more voltage, the chip or load fails due to overvoltage. If you provide under voltage, the load draws more current and as a result gets heated up and is very likely to burn if you do not provide adequate heat protection.

Please correct me if I AM WRONG. I too am a beginner, so I may go wrong.
