#2658 - Using a 89C52 to drive a stepper motor
Hi all,
i am a new user of 8051. i am using a atmel 89c52 to drive a stepper motor.
the stepper motor is 12V, 0.4A. i use a darlington (2004A) for signal drive.
but the current seems doesn't enough to drive. the current from 8051 to 2004'base is around 40uA. and the collector current is 130mA. so the stepper seems doesn't work propably. i'd try to use a emulator to drive the circuit. it works.
how can i increase the current from 8051? or do u have a good suggestion??
thanks....
