Johnny you should use ULN2003 instead of 2004.
2004 is for CMOS drivers with higher voltage output. So driving it from TTL level only 5 volts level micro won't drive it.

2003 is for TTL and low voltage such as micro driver.

Still, even with 2003 you won't get anything, unless you pull up the output driver ports with 4.7 K resistors. The pullup will turn on the gate of 2003 and sending a 0 to the controlling port of micro will switch off the Gate of 2003.
